How we are funded — affiliate model, transparently

HostPickr is free for you. To run the site, keep our plan data up to date, and keep improving it, we're funded by affiliate commissions. We want you to know exactly how that works.

What an affiliate link is

Some links to hosting providers are affiliate links. If you follow one to a provider and order a service there, we receive a commission. Nothing changes for you — you pay the same price as if you'd gone to the provider's site directly. No extra cost, no catch.

Why it doesn't influence our rankings

This is essential to us. The ranking and score of plans is computed by an algorithm from objective parameters — performance, renewal price, availability, and how well a plan matches the needs you entered in the configurator. The commission amount plays no part in the scoring. A provider that pays us more does not rank higher.

What if a provider has no affiliate program?

Plans without an affiliate program can still appear in the results and earn a high score if they're the best choice for you. Our goal is a good recommendation, not just the one we earn from.
