How it works

HostPickr helps you find a web hosting plan or VPS that matches what you actually need from your website — without having to understand the technical details. Just answer a few questions and we translate the rest into parameters and match them against our database of plans.

1. Answer a few questions

The configurator guides you through five to seven steps. We ask about your type of project (blog, e-shop, business site, application), expected traffic, the technologies you want to use, and your budget. No question requires technical knowledge — we speak the language of your business, not the server console.

2. We translate needs into parameters

We turn your answers into concrete technical requirements — the CPU and memory you need, storage type, support for specific technologies, datacenter location, or backup level. This is where the magic happens: we connect a business need with what the server must actually deliver.

What we take into account

Beyond raw performance, we weigh availability (SLA), the quality and language of support, server location relative to your visitors, and above all the renewal price. It's the renewal price, not the tempting introductory offer, that decides what you'll really pay.

3. We calculate a score

Every plan in our database gets a score based on how well it covers your requirements. The scoring is transparent and objective — it works with real parameters and prices, not with who pays us a higher commission. Plans that miss key requirements never make it into the results.

4. You pick from the results

At the end you get a ranked list of recommendations with a clear explanation of why we chose each one. For every plan you see the renewal price first, the key parameters, and a link straight to the provider. The decision is always yours — we just save you hours of comparison.
